Red Stag is my favorite place in town. The entire staff is so nice, the atmosphere on the lake is gorgeous, the bar is friendly. Even the drinks are delicious! Couldn't ask for a better place in town. I enjoy being a regular here.

2nd time we've been here. The folks that work here have been very friendly and the service is prompt. We've had the shepards pie, JMs oysters, fish and chips, tavern shrimp which all was good and tasty. If I l8ved closer I would go there more often!

We just love the red stag vibe with 2 dinners! Stayed at americainn so nobrainer to go.Look at the stunning view after storm with some drinks and meals great ushering into the night. Our two server girls were so nice and amazing.Love the wings with spicy sauce and geogia beer was surprisingly refreshing.They have a lake of turtles and fishes (no signs of gators pity), free fish food for leisure time.

Super impressed with the food here.Onion rings- 5 Stars. I travel for a living and have had onion rings in pretty much every state and dozens upon dozens of cities, these are hands down the best ones I've ever had.Shrimp fish taco- 5 Stars. Two huge pieces of shrimp with just the right amount of everything in the taco.Fries oysters - 5 stars-. Not too much to say here, they're just really good.Wings - 4.5 stars. Double fried wings taste more like fried chicken than regular chicken wings do, which generally I don't prefer, but these were fried up just right and very good.Service was friendly and excellent.

I had the best chicken sandwich ever at this place. Jamison honey whiskey sauce is the best on the chicken sandwich. I loved the onion rings for the side. Baleigh and Ambree were amazing bar chicks ever with top notch service. Looking forward to the next visit when in town.

Nice place with a lake view, good drinks and live music. We did not eat there yet. I'll update when we do.Update: We came back again for drinks and live music. This is definitely a must go to kinda place which was evident by the crowd enjoying the band.Tell Isabelle Gunny said hi!

We were staying next door at the American Inn. Walked over, good drinks, excellent chicken wings. My husband says best he has ever had even in Atlanta.Chicken wings are still pretty good in 2023

I came here with a group of 24, and had the time.of my life! The staff was attentive, the food came out appropriately (drinks, then apps, then food, etc...) and hot. I ordered a steak sandwich with fries, and it was hands down the best meal I had during the whole week I was here in Vidalia, GA. I will definitely be stopping to eat here again when I'm in town.
